Amber + CJ Whisper Mountain Retreat Wedding

Amber and CJ’s Whisper Mountain Retreat Wedding was filled with so many sweet moments! Amber and CJ’s family and friends pulled together to help with their wedding. And it was so evident to me how very loved they are! They chose to get married just a few miles from where they both grew up, at Whisper Mountain Retreat. Whisper Mountain Retreat is set in the mountains of Robbinsville, North Carolina and it doubles as a retreat for adults and summer camp for kids! I loved it’s beautiful mountain views and tall pine trees….I might have gotten a little obsessed over them when doing Amber’s bridal shots (oops haha). Amber loves Beauty and The Beast, a girl after my own heart! When she opened up her dried rose wedding present from CJ, there was not a dry eye in the room (including mine). Amber and CJ’s faith is very important to them and I loved seeing how they incorporated what they treasure the most into their day. It was especially touching when all of Amber’s bridesmaids prayed over her pre-ceremony- talk about tears flowing! The rain was pouring when I first showed up to shoot their wedding, but Amber and CJ maintained their positive attitudes and the rain cleared up just in time for their ceremony. Watching the mist rise off of the mountains and the sun set in the background as Amber and CJ soaked in the first moments of being newly married was the most special moments of all.
