Casey & Jonathon’s Summer Chestnut Ridge Wedding was everything a summer wedding should be! Casey and Jonathon met while studying engineering at Georgia Tech in 2013. They have many similar interests such as traveling (they’ve visited 17 different countries together), hiking, camping, trying new foods, and people watching. Jonathon popped the question to Casey in 2017 when they had just finished a strenuous hike at Grandfather Mountain. Casey said yes and they began planning their dream mountain wedding!

In 2018 Casey and Jonathon relocated to England for job opportunities and they worked on planning their wedding remotely with the help of their amazing wedding planner from Mingle. Casey and Jonathon’s wedding day had so many fun touches! As favors for their guests they made a special mixed cd of their favorite songs that they listened to while dating and they also had treat bags with special candies from England. Since Jonathon and Casey are foodies they wanted the food on their wedding day to represent some of their favorite foods. Smash events knocked it out of the park with mexican tapas, asian entrees, and even a make your own biscuit bar. This international couple was so much fun to work with and definitely brought an international flair to their day.
