MY APPROACH

My goal when working with all of my couples is to make your wedding photos the most effortless part of your day. I believe in everyday romance and that love is one of the most beautiful things we all possess. I pour my heart into the weddings I shoot and make it my utmost goal to create romantic, natural, intimate images that capture the purity of your love.

 

Weddings

Everything you’ve ever wanted to know about what it’s like working with us! 

 

How many weddings have you shot and how many wedding do you shoot a year? 60 Weddings! I shoot 15-20 weddings a year and I have been a full time wedding photographer for 3 years! 

How many images will I receive from my wedding day? 700-900 images per wedding. 

How will I receive the images from my wedding day? Via a digital pixieset gallery. 

What kind of gear do you use? I shoot on a canon 5d mark iii and have a canon 6d as my backup camera. All of my lenses are canon or sigma lenses.

Will there be a second shooter or assistants at my wedding? Depending on which collection you choose, your wedding will either be covered exclusively by me or by me and a second shooter. My second shooter is someone who I have trained and worked with for the past two years. 

Do you bring your own lighting? Yes, I bring my own off camera lighting and am fully proficient in shooting night wedding receptions and sparkler exits. 

Do you include engagement sessions in your wedding collections? All of my wedding collections include an engagement session! I view this session as a way for me to get to know you as a couple prior to the wedding and it’s also a great time for you to practice posing and get more comfortable in front of the camera. 

I know I want you to be my wedding photographer, now what? I will send you a wedding contract to fill out and once I receive that and your $1000.00 retainer, your wedding date is officially reserved on my calendar. The rest of the wedding collection balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding. 

How will you and your team be dressed at my wedding? In dressy business attire! 

How would you describe your wedding photography style? My style of shooting is romantic, natural, and intimate. I am a firm believer in fuss-free posing and will guide you into different poses so that the guesswork is taken out the equation and you can enjoy spending time together!

Will you retouch the images from our wedding? I will color correct, remove blemishes, and hand edit every wedding photo that is delivered in your pixieset gallery. 

Sessions

 

How many images will I receive from my portrait session? 30 digital retouched images per session. 

How will I receive the images from my session? Via a digital pixieset gallery. 

How many outfit changes are included with my session? For engagement and portrait sessions you can have up to two outfit changes. For boudoir sessions you can have up to three outfit changes. 

I know I want you to shoot my portrait session, now what? I will send you a portrait session contract to fill out and once I receive that and your $100.00 retainer, your session date is officially reserved on my calendar. The rest of the session amount is due 3 days prior to the session. 

Do you pick the location for our session or can we pick the place? I have a list of places I love to shoot at that are located in or around Asheville, you can pick a place from this list or suggest a location that is meaningful to you personally! (Travel fees apply for sessions that are 30 minutes outside of Asheville).
