Sometimes you set your alarm for 5:30am, leave your house at 6am and meet with a couple just as the sun is starting to peek through for the most epic engagement photos. This was the case for Indya and Josh’s Looking Glass Falls Engagement Session. Though we were rubbing the sleep out of our eyes when the shoot first began, we quickly were invigorated by the sheer beauty of the Falls. Spring mornings in the mountains often mean temperatures still below freezing… this morning was no exception. It was a balmy 32 degrees! Indya and Josh weren’t just cuddling up for the photos sake, they were literally doing it for the extra body warmth, HA 😉 Sometimes I go shoot sessions where I am in awe that I really get to do this as my job! We are surrounded by some of the most exceptional waterfalls and mountains, all you have to do is go out there and see them. One of the greatest gifts this past year has been the reconnection that I have felt with nature and God’s creation. To take couples out into this beauty and see their joy as they discover the wonder of nature with their best friend makes my heart smile. I hope that as you look through Indya and Josh’s time at Looking Glass Falls, you too will feel inspired to go outside and experience everything nature has to offer.
