Kelsey and Connor had an absolutely classic wedding recently at Chestnut Ridge! Kelsey and Connor are truly some of the sweetest people I’ve worked with and their families are also truly exceptional. Kelsey and Connor absolutely had to get married in Asheville- Asheville after all is where their love story began. Kelsey was in Asheville for her friend’s bridal shower and Connor was in Asheville with some of his best friends doing a weekend brewery hop. K&C met, hit it off, and began a long distance relationship! Because Connor lived in Chattanooga and Kelsey lived in Charlotte, Asheville became their central meeting spot and they spent many weekends exploring Asheville together and getting to know each other. Fast forward to a year later when Connor moved to Charlotte to be in the same city as Kelsey and the rest is history. I loved that they chose to get married in Asheville where everything first started for them.

Kelsey’s dress by All Who Wander was equal parts bohemian and equal parts romantic. Connor was dressed in black tie, but with a twist as he chose to go with a navy tux with black accents and black bowtie. Their florals by Daria were out of this world- Daria turned their ceremony and reception spaces into a rose-filled wonderland. Kelsey and Connor had a lovely ceremony and Connor’s teary reaction when he saw Kelsey walk down the aisle was so heartwarming. For Kelsey and Connor’s sunset photos, they had a pink sunset that perfectly matched the pink roses in their decor. When it came time for their reception Kelsey changed into a sequined party dress and they danced the night away thanks to their amazing band, Irresistible Groove. Their day was completed with some champagne popping night shots and a glittery exit complete with sparklers and fountain fireworks. Congrats K&C- thank you for letting me celebrate the best day with you two!
