Kendall and Mike got married at my favorite barn venue in Asheville: Honeysuckle Hill! Kendall and Mike met through match.com and quickly realized that it was love. As fate would have it, Mike proposed to Kendall on a snowy morning in late December at The Grove Park Inn and Kendall said YES! Because they got engaged in Asheville, the knew they wanted to hold their wedding in Asheville as well. They quickly fell in love with the beautiful red barn at Honeysuckle Hill and began planning their best day ever.
Kendall was a fashion merchandising major and works in that field so I was very excited to see her vision for her wedding day come to life. Kendall and Mike chose a modern, natural color palette with tiny touches of navy and pops of color throughout. The theme of their wedding was “spring fresh,” and it really was the epitome of a cheerful spring wedding- complete with perfect weather!
Mike’s family is local to the North Carolina area and Kendall is originally from Chicago. Kendall and Mike’s wedding was a huge family affair and I loved seeing how they honored their relationships with their family throughout their day. One of the most unique elements at their wedding was the cookie table! A couple weeks before K&M’s wedding, they got together with their family and made all the cookies that they had on the cookie tables at their wedding. They even made cookies in the shapes of their faces! Enjoy their perfect spring wedding below 🙂
