Madi and Dylan officially were married a few weeks ago at Overlook Barn after being together for 10 years! If anyone deserved a beautiful wedding day it was these two. If you’ve ever been to anywhere in the Banner Elk or Boone area, you know that it’s 100% normal for the weather to be all over the place and that was definitely the case at M&D’s wedding. We had wind, fog, rain, clouds, and finally a truly breathtaking sunset, but battling with the weather was worth it because now they have wedding photos with so many different looks. Madi looked like a fairy princess in her long sleeved gown from Chic Nostalgia- it was truly one of the prettiest dresses I’ve seen this year. And Dylan looked very dapper in his black tie suit…there is just something so classic about a black tie outfit on a groom that I love. Dylan and Madi had to incorporate their furry kids, Sky and Astro, into their wedding day, so they worked with the amazing Jess from Sugar Pups Dog Walking- the photos with their pups are some of my faves, especially because their boy Astro is part doxie. The groom’s step-dad, Rick, made a custom wine box for them to use each year on their anniversary, as well as the ceremony arch, signs, and lanterns. Madi and Dylan’s wedding was beautiful and unique in so many ways, but by far the best part of their day was seeing them having fun with their friends and family. I’m so excited for Madi and Dylan and everything the future holds for them! Congrats M&D!
