Megan + Chad Fairview Taylor Ranch Wedding
Megan and Chad’s Fairview Taylor Ranch Wedding is one that is very special to me because of the amazing couple that Megan and Chad are! Where to begin for their day….it rained all day and Megan didn’t let the weather get her down one bit. Megan and her crew got ready in a cabin they found on air bnb and the yard at the cabin had the most perfectly colored fall trees. Almost like the trees were made for wedding dress shots or something 😉 I met Megan and her mom prior to her wedding day and Megan assured me that she would be an incredibly calm, laid-back bride, well she wasn’t kidding. Most brides upon seeing a torrential downpour on their wedding day would be slightly upset, but not Megan, she had a smile on her face the entire day. After spending some time with Megan, my second shooter and I went to Chad and his guys for some getting ready photos. Chad had his and Megan’s dog, Dixie, with him and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t immediately gravitate towards her when I entered the hotel room. I’m a huge dog lover and loved the fact that they love their pupper so much that they had to have her at their wedding day.
I don’t know that I have ever seen a man look more sincere or touched during a wedding ceremony, as Chad was! As Megan and Chad were reciting their vows, you could tell they meant every word they were saying. The rain was much too heavy to venture outside with the full bridal party for formal shots, but because of the amazing people that Megan and Chad are, they were willing to give it a try! Megan’s dress got absolutely soaked at the bottom, but it didn’t phase her one bit. She even changed into her crocs for photos and dancing, something that endeared her to me and all the guests even more. I loved this sweet couple and their day because of their sincerity and laid back ways. They took in stride what many would’ve viewed as bad weather conditions and had an amazing day!
