Tatum & Tommy | Max Patch Tennessee Engagement Session

Two words come to mind when I think about Tatum & Tommy- best friends! I met up with Tatum and Tommy a couple of weeks ago on a blustery Saturday for their engagement session at Max Patch Mountain in Tennessee. We quickly hiked up and discovered that the wind was not going to be friendly that day, but instead of fighting it, we decided to just go with the flow and embrace the weather we had been given. It was definitely chilly, but also fun and romantic- the last two parts being a good representation of T&T’s relationship. Tatum and Tommy met several years ago at their work as travel nurses and the rest as they say is history. What followed was many adventures- hikes, skydiving, cuddling with their two pups, and lots of time getting to know each other. Though I’ve only known them for a short time, it was very clear to me at their engagement session that they love being together and know how to have a good laugh. If there is anything I’ve learned over the past eleven years of being married, it’s that laughter is one of the key ingredients to a lasting and happy relationship! If the laughter that Tatum and Tommy shared at their session was any indication- then I know these two have a very happy life together in the future. Tatum wanted to end their session by popping a bottle of champagne, so up there on a mountain in Tennessee with their teeth chattering and hands turning red from the cold- they did the damn thing, popped some bubbly, and cheered to their future together as husband and wife.
