All you really need to know about Christa and Justin’s Spring Biltmore Estate Engagement session is that it features one of the sweetest couples I have met. Christa reached out to me back in the fall about doing her bridal session at Biltmore. I met up with Christa, Haley her sister, and their mom shortly before Thanksgiving and immediately loved them. Christa loved her bridal photos so much she asked me to shoot her wedding! Sometimes I email my couples and preface it by saying “so don’t think I’m crazy, but I have a really good idea.” And 99% of the time they don’t think I’m crazy and go along with my ideas. In this instance Christa and Justin not only didn’t think I was crazy, but they loved my idea of incorporating Abraham (Abe the babe as I like to call him), their bulldog, into the session and having him and Christa wear matching floral crowns. Abe is the cutest! He was so unsure about the flower crown, but so trusting that with some treats and encouragement he rocked it for some of the photos. One thing you need to know about Justin is that he is a huge Star Wars fan. HUGE enough to bring vintage Star Wars helmets to their session and whip them out for photos. Contrary to making fun of them about it though, I loved it! I loved that they felt the freedom to be themselves. That is always what I am striving for in sessions. So, bulldog/Star Wars fans, eat your heart out!
