Dixie + Jason Biltmore Estate Proposal Session

Dixie and Jason’s Biltmore Estate Proposal Session was an absolute treat to shoot! From the minute Jason contacted me I could tell how much Dixie means to him! He was so involved in the planning of the proposal and wanted every detail to be just right. Jason planned a special day for him and Dixie at Biltmore. He made sure she was dressed in one of her favorite dresses (he used the excuse of taking her to a nice dinner later that evening), he made sure she had a fresh manicure (he insisted Dixie get one since they were on vacation), and he even made sure they didn’t go the spot where he was going to propose at their tour earlier in the day since he wanted it to be special. After talking with Jason and showing him a map of the estate he settled on The Diana Statue as the spot for the proposal to happen! Trying to stay out of plain sight up there wasn’t the easiest. I may have had some tourists walk by pre-proposal who thought I was nuts due to me being crouched down behind a tree with a camera around my neck, ha 😉 We both got into place though at the perfect time and Dixie said a resounding “yes!” Jason and Dixie met on Tinder of all places! But from the beginning nothing about their relationship was casual, it was the real deal. Through deployments for Jason and nursing school for Dixie their love has remained steadfast. Dixie couldn’t stop laughing at their session and you know what, I went with it! Their love as it is, is beautiful and perfect. Congrats you two!
