I can’t think of a more perfect wedding to share today than Emily and Mike’s Hidden Hill Wedding! When I think of amazingly sweet and just super nice people, Emily and Mike are right there at the top of the list! Emily and Mike fell in love and traveled all around the US before deciding to come back to Asheville! I had so much fun hanging out with them and their cutie, Penny, at their Hawksbill Engagement Session! It was a great opportunity to get to know them and helped me realize how much I was going to love working with them on their wedding day. It was my first time shooting at Hidden Hill and it felt like such a treat! Hidden Hill has major Fixer Upper vibes going on…..feast your eyes upon their all white shiplap walls. And, as if they needed more pros, they have the most gorgeous view of Morganton. Emily and Mike love hiking, adventures, and being up in the mountains, so they found the perfect venue to showcase their personalities.
Emily wore her mother’s wedding dress, that was altered and freshened up by Sugarcane Studios. Emily and Mike didn’t do a garter or bouquet toss because that’s just not them! They did however have pizza at their reception (who doesn’t love pizza?!) and had laser engraved beer mugs as wedding favors for their guests (they do BOTH work at local breweries). I was straight up drooling as I edited their detail photos… vintage china from Vintage Chic Rentals & Designs had me seeing all the heart eyes. Cheers to two of the nicest people, who did things their way and have the most beautiful wedding and story to show for it!
