Looking Glass Falls Engagement Session || Courtney & Corey

Courtney and Corey’s Looking Glass Falls Engagement Session definitely ranks among my top 5 favorite engagement sessions I photographed last year. Courtney and Corey traveled from Florida to Asheville last fall for their wedding weekend! I met up with them a couple of days before their wedding to photograph their adventure engagement session and get to know them. Courtney thought it would be special to have their engagement photos taken at a place that represented the state they were getting married in and fell in love with Looking Glass Falls once I suggested it. Courtney showed up for their session in a stunning botanica petal gown by Zimmermann and even though I was slightly concerned about her navigating around the rocks of the waterfall in such a lovely dress, she handled the entire process like a pro. I absolutely love when my couples put so much thought and intention into the outfits and styling for their session- it helps the location + the way I photograph come together so seamlessly. We shot at the falls on a rare day when we DID NOT have to battle a million people in the background and can I just say how lovely it is when you can have a gorgeous location all to yourselves- perfection! The fall leaves certainly showed out on the day of their session and the colors were brilliant!
