I don’t think I could possibly love a couple more than I loved Meredith & Dean, they were both all things sweetness and light and their wedding was equally as joy-filled. Meredith & Dean lived in Roanoke for 3 years while they were finishing PT school and it was then that they fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains. After they graduated from school they relocated to North Carolina. It was during wedding planning one day that Meredith stumbled upon Chestnut Ridge….upon realizing that it was located in the beautiful mountains that they cherished so much they couldn’t envision saying “I do,” anywhere else.

Meredith & Dean were married on an especially charming fall day- the fall colors were brilliant and really matched the vibrancy that these two have as a couple. Joy is the best word I can think of to describe their wedding day! Meredith couldn’t stop laughing or smiling, after all their day had to be postponed several times due to the pandemic. Meredith chose a color palette that absolutely complimented the effervescence of fall, her bridesmaids looked stunning in their wine-colored gowns from Revelry and I absolutely loved that her florist, Springvine, incorporated actual fall leaves into the flower bouquets.  What wedding day would be complete without man (or woman’s) best friend! Meredith & Dean’s sweet pup, Duke, was in attendance at their wedding looking quite dapper in his bowtie that matched the bridesmaids (And I just have to say he received such lovely care from Lindsey with Ivory Hound Weddings). To hear Meredith & Dean’s family and friends describe them both I kept hearing over and over again how to know them was to love them and that was definitely my experience with them. When I shoot a wedding and I can see not only the happiness and joy radiating off my couples but also the deep love they have for one another, it really is the most beautiful thing and I feel like those things come through in the photos. Congrats Meredith & Dean- thank you for letting me be apart of your absolutely lovely Fall Wedding!
