Miller + Shaun Beacon Heights Engagement Session

I was absolutely so excited when the day came to shoot Miller and Shaun’s Beacon Heights Engagement Session! Their engagement session was the kick-off to my engagement session shooting season here…a day that I always look forward to each year. We went back and forth on the location for their session, but ultimately settled upon Beacon Heights near The Linn Cove Viaduct. I shot a bridal session ages ago at Beacon Heights and I remembered loving it because of the amazing views and it’s bare rock face. When we met up in the parking lot to hike up we were immediately struck by how much cooler it felt up on the parkway! It was very windy and despite how golden and sunny their photos look- the chill of winter was still keenly felt. Thankfully, Miller and Shaun were in it to win it and did so amazing toughing it out despite the cold! Cheers to this beautiful couple AND to their much warmer wedding day in August 😉
