Samantha and Corey’s Black Balsam Engagement Session was so much fun! The day for their session came and when we pulled up to Black Balsam we could see that the weather wasn’t doing what we were hoping for. It was windy, and the fog was so thick you couldn’t even see the surrounding mountains, BUT we kept a positive attitude and looked on the bright side. YES- it was windy and there was no sunshine to be seen, but it wasn’t raining and the gray haze of the day made the fall colors pop even more. In true fashion- I decided we needed to end their session with a little improvising, so we used the beams on their jeep for spotlights and had fun in a parking lot on the side of the Parkway.

Corey is currently actively deployed, so my prayers are with him during this time! I know that when he gets home we will all have a blast celebrating his and Samantha’s wedding day at Chestnut Ridge.
