Steve + Bek Firescreek Winery Wedding

Steve and Bek’s Wedding at Firescreek Winery in Holgate, Australia was one of kind! I have known Steve since I was a teenager and he actually married Stephen and me in 2010 so it was very special when he reached out to me about shooting his and Bek’s Wedding. AND it was made even more special by the fact that it was going to be taking place in his home country of Australia.

Steve and Bek’s wedding day started out with a light drizzle and mild temperature. I went and hung out with Bek and her girls while she got ready in the cutest open air airbnb. Her regular hairstylist George styled her hair and the flowers were provided by her talented friend Lola. Bek had the sweetest first look with her dad and brothers on the porch of the airbnb and then we were off to the winery for the ceremony! Steve and Bek’s ceremony was filled with lots of laughs, prayers by their closest family members, and the cutest best man (my hubby Stephen 😉

Their day ended in the backyard of Steve and Bek’s parents who had transformed their yard into a garden paradise complete with twinkling lanterns. It was so much fun getting to travel to Sydney to shoot their wedding and seeing how no matter where a wedding takes place, either in North Carolina or across the sea in Australia, the love that brings together friends and family from near and far is the same. Congrats Steve and Bek!
