Alexis and Corey had such a beautiful, well thought out wedding at Sawyer Family Farmstead. I really enjoyed getting to know Alexis and Corey through the wedding planning process from their engagement session to their actual wedding day! If you’ve never been to Sawyer Family Farmstead then you are missing out. It is the most stunning wedding and event venue near Cashiers that overlooks Lake Glenville and the Blue Ridge Mountains and as if that wasn’t enough it’s on an 80 acre Christmas Tree Farm. When Alexis told me they were getting married at Sawyer Family Farmstead, I knew that Nicole (the in house wedding planner) would make sure their day was absolutely perfect!
Alexis poured her heart into planning her and Corey’s wedding. There were so many thoughtful touches during their wedding day, some of my favorite details were their his and hers vow books, engraved ring box with their initials, and their favorite honey they gave to their guests as favors. Corey is an active member of the military, so after they said their wedding vows they exited by having a formal saber arch- a tradition I had never witnessed before and now absolutely love! Alexis and Corey got married on Corey’s wedding day and I would say there is no better birthday present than marrying the love of your life. Congrats Alexis and Corey!
