Indya + Josh Providence Cotton Mill Wedding
When I say that shooting Indya and Josh’s Providence Cotton Mill Wedding was a dream, I mean it was an actual dream! When Indya told me about their venue, I did what I always do when I hear of a new venue, have a little Instagram stalking session! I was head over heels in love with the exposed brick walls, the open windows, the history behind the place, then add in Indya and Josh, a couple I adore and it was heavenly. Indya is a fellow boho lover like myself, so I new she would infuse her boho love into her wedding. AND I was 100% right! Indya’s mom, April, helped her and Josh plan their wedding and get some of the day to day tasks checked off and she did an amazing job. When it came to the execution of Indya’s boho vision for her day, Elegant and Classy Events were there to bring the decor to life and of course help all the wedding day festivities go off without a hitch! It’s always amazing when you work with vendors for the first time and it feels like you’ve been doing weddings together forever. That’s how it felt on J&I’s wedding day.
Indya and Josh met for the first time at basketball game and upon seeing Josh, Indya said,”that’s the future father of my children.” Anddddd I’m pretty sure Josh was thinking the same thing when he saw Indya! But truly to see the love these two have for each other is so beautiful. Watching them throughout their wedding day as I captured all the different moments I noticed over and over again how they are there for each other. So often I caught them sharing a joke or wiping away the tears from each others eyes through their emotional vows and pre-ceremony prayer. I’m still not over how sweet it was seeing Josh pray over his bride and their life together! I just have to mention too that their first dance together was one of the most intimate first dances I’ve ever seen. Indya and Josh both have servants hearts. Josh in his service to our Country and Indya as a nurse serving those who need healing. I know that with this heart behind all of their actions, they will have an amazing life serving each other and those around them.
