Mariana + Micheal Country Club of Asheville Wedding
I have known Micheal for several years through my friends Sarah & Chris, but it wasn’t until a year and a half ago that I met Mariana. Mariana and Micheal were newly engaged at the time and I could quickly tell how head over heels they both were for each other. It’s always fun shooting weddings, but even more fun when you get to shoot the weddings of your friends. Mariana and Micheal’s Country Club of Asheville Wedding was beautiful in it’s classic color palette and elegant touches. I love the fact that Micheal and Mariana actually met at a friend’s wedding! Micheal decided last minute to attend a wedding in Atlanta with one of his friends and as fate (or luck) would have it Mariana was also in attendance. That night they couldn’t keep their eyes off of each other. They talked for hours at the wedding, exchanged numbers, and began their journey together.
Mariana hand picked every detail of their wedding and you could tell. The colors, the wedding cake, the flowers, everything was so exquisite! Honoring his inner Star Wars lover, Micheal had Star Wars inspired boutonnieres and cocktails! Not many brides these days go for a more classic bridal look, but I thought Mariana looked every inch the classic bride in her Essense of Australia wedding gown. Mariana and Micheal both know how to have a good time, so it came as no surprise to me that their dance floor was packed with guests having a great time! Did you know that The Country Club of Asheville has amazing views of downtown Asheville from the top of the golf course?! I was surprised to find this out, but very happy when it came time for Mariana and Micheal’s golden hour photos. Although we had trouble tying Micheal’s bowtie (thank you random stranger for figuring that one out), and the clouds kind of blocked the sunset, their day was filled with so much love and was perfect in every way that counts.
