Kelsey + Cody Black Balsam Engagement Session

Sometimes you see the weather forecast and you just hope it will turn in your favor, but decide to go for it regardless of the weather! Today’s Black Balsam Engagement Session is a perfect example of that. We had already had to reschedule their engagement session due to bad weather and we just weren’t willing to let the weather destroy our plans. As we started driving up to Black Balsam, it was raining, but we were just hoping that it would stop! It did stop for about 10 minutes, but the rest of the time I was shooting it rained on us. Regardless, we had so much fun and you never would’ve known how awful the weather was from how much Kelsey and Cody were laughing and playing together. I am one of those people who actually thinks that Black Balsam can look just as beautiful in it’s rainy, foggy, ruggedness, as it does on a day where the sun is shining brightly. The weather may not have been perfect for their session, but it gave them a good excuse to cuddle, and hold on to each other tightly. SO looking forward to K&C’s wedding in August!
