Lauren + Bjorn Olivette Wedding

Lauren and Bjorn’s wedding at Olivette was so indescribably perfect for the two of them! They began their day getting ready in the cozy Asheville Cottages. When I got there, they were both getting ready surrounded by their closest friends and family. If I could think of one word to describe their day, it would be relaxed. Which is not a word you would typically use to describe a wedding day, but if you know Lauren and Bjorn and the presence they each carry, you would see why it fits. Lauren shared the most precious first look with her dad before going off to her first look with Bjorn. I found a shaded grove of trees where they could have their first look in private. It was so sweet watching Bjorn twirl Lauren in a circle to admire her wedding outfit! We even squeezed in some family photo time with L&B’s son, Liam. Let me tell you…this little guy couldn’t keep his eyes off his mommy…I’m pretty sure he thought she was a princess. Lauren and Bjorn got married at Olivette with the French Broad River flowing peacefully in the background. As Lauren and Bjorn were presented as a married couple, all their guests waved tiny Norwegian flags, to honor Bjorn’s heritage. They ended their day with a bbq feast at Buxton Hall and by spot hopping with me in downtown Asheville. As the last rays of the sun shone down, they shared a kiss and basked in it’s warmth.
